This rainbow trout mapping project
was initiated in Gary Thorgaard's lab at Washington State University to
produce a genetic map for rainbow trout using doubled haploids produced
by androgenesis from the hybrid between two clonal rainbow trout lines.
Individuals participating in the initial mapping project include William
Young and Paul Wheeler at Washington State University and Ginger Coryell
and Paul Keim at Northern Arizona University. This map has been published*,
and we are currently collaborating with a number of other individuals to
add microsatellite, AFLP, and type I loci to the map. The dataset
below contains the original data in our published map.
