23 April. The schedule for the Edith Wharton and History conference is now available.

14 April. Deadline extended to July 1, 2008, for EWS Secretary and Executive board nominations. Nominations invited for EWS Executive Board and Secretary positions. Completed nomination forms should be returned by email to BOTH L.Rattray@hull.ac.uk and SSTowheed@aol.com.

8 April. For those who were confused by the conference logo: Important notice: change of venue for the Edith Wharton and History conference--please read. The conference has been moved from 7 Hills to the Crowne Plaza in

15 March. The Mount has until April 24 to raise the $3 million.
